Big new stuff happening! I keep bouncing back and forth between excitement and nervousness. But mostly excitement.
Next week I’ll be meeting with 8 awesome MSU-Denver college students for the first of five workshop sessions. The goal is to introduce some economy-of-scale to my work. I adore working with my private coaching clients and I don’t think anything will ever replace that type of personalized attention but, let’s face it, students aren’t typically in a place where they can easily fit private coaching into their budgets — even with me coaching them through the process. And there are only so many working hours in my day.
In my coaching practice I’ve noticed very strong trends in the order and the pace at which clients progress through skill acquisition. However, I’ve also noticed that the introduction of even one more person (when I work with couples) changes the dynamic and pace of our work. It should prove fascinating and informative to work with a group of eight people and eight different sets of accounts and categories in eight different budgets.
Wish us all luck, huh?
